P-Ex Series ATEX Ethernet products

With the P-Ex series from PRIMATION and the 500 Series from N-TRON, there is a complete range of products available to transport Ethernet to potentially explosive atmospheres. All current media and speeds can be installed in potentially explosive atmospheres, which enables the installation of a flexible network architecture with high transfer rates in one of the most sensitive industrial sectors. The operation of HD cameras is just as simple and possible as connecting hand-held scanners and operator terminals with high-resolution displays.

P-Ex opis Transceivers

P-Ex series transceivers stand out because their fiber optic connections conform to opis. The current connector types (SC, LC and ST) and an optional redundant power supply are available. By expanding the "P-Ex OTR opis 100" with an N-TRON 102MC or another 100 series device, a switch with up to eight copper ports and 6 fiber optic ports can be easily and cost-effectively connected upstream, thereby creating safe communication in potentially explosive atmospheres.

ATEX Ethernet switches and media converters for Zone I

The P-Ex 1002MC, P-Ex 1003GX2 and P-Ex 1005TX Ethernet switches and media converters are used as stationary devices in potentially explosive atmospheres of device Groups I and II. They are used to transfer optical or electronic data signals of a maximum bandwidth of 1 Gbit/s. The products are available in two different models: The aluminum housing for use in Zone 1 and Zone 21 and the stainless steel housing for use in the mining area M2

ATEX Ethernet switches for Zone II

The N-TRON 500 Switch series with option "A" is ideally suited for industrial control applications in Ethernet networks. It comes with advanced management features such as VLAN, IGMP Snooping, Port Trunking, QoS and Mirroring. IGMP and the automatic recognition mode for queries (Query Auto Detect) are enabled by default. Other important features include multiple router support, dynamic router detection and master/slave redundancy for query detection. The 500 series products are specifically designed for harsh industrial conditions, have an extended temperature range, can withstand powerful shocks and vibrations as well as electromagnetic interference. They have redundant power inputs and high MTBF values.
